CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL POLICY
FOR TABITHA PRICE MAKEUP

During the first lockdown Tabitha completed the Barbicide Covid-19 Certification Course. Please read the information below regarding our safety procedures and how Tabitha Price-Makeup is operating during Covid-19.

Appointment Safety

  • Should Tabitha feel ill or have any symptoms of COVlD-19, then she will immediately self-isolate for the required time. This could mean that your appointment is postponed at short notice. This will only be done if deemed necessary and for your safety only.

  • Likewise, if you or any of your household have been in close contact someone who has tested positive for Corona Virus, feel ill or display any symptoms of COVlD-19 – please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our very best to reschedule your appointment.

  • The World Health Organisation has listed some of the Covid-19 symptoms here - https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus
If the client suspects they have any of these symptoms, however mild, they must stay at home and reschedule their appointment.

On the Day of Your Appointment

  • Tabitha has carried out a thorough risk assessment of all of the services which she offers and is confident that she can continue to provide these safely.

  • For your safety and to maintain social distancing, I would ask that you attend your appointment on time and that you do not bring anyone else unless previously discussed with Tabitha.

  • For group bookings, on-site location services and weddings, a separate room will need to be provided for Tabitha to set-up and clients will be asked to come individually for their makeup at their scheduled time, which will be clearly advised. To maintain social distancing, anyone else who is not having makeup on the day will not be permitted.

  • Tabitha will wear the appropriate PPE and wash her hands thoroughly in accordance with the NHS guidelines before your arrival and before the makeup service begins. This will be made clear to you when you are seated to ensure you feel safe and protected, Hand sanitiser will be provided at your appointment for your use also.

  • Tabitha has increased cleaning and has ensured all door knobs, chairs and surfaces will be sanitised before your arrival.

  • All tools, products and equipment will be sterilised before and after every client and at the end of each day.

  • All clients will be required to wash their hands and apply hand sanitiser before entering the establishment. For location appointments, please ensure that you wash your hands immediately before coming for your makeup slot.

  • Tabitha asks that you please wear a face covering as you enter the establishment and when being seated. You will be advised when to remove your mask by Tabitha.

  • All disposable items used during the service will be binned and disposed of in the appropriate manner.

  • Unfortunately refreshments cannot be offered but please feel free to bring your own.

Payment

  • In order to minimise the handling of cash, we ask that you please pay for your service by BACS transfer.

  • Cash payments are still accepted. If you would prefer to pay this way, please ensure that you have the correct amount available.

Coronavirus Legislation.

  • The opening up of public places following the COVID-19 outbreak is being supported by the NHS Test and Trace service. In line with other government guidance, businesses are required by law to keep an accurate temporary record of visitors for 21 days and to assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for that data, if needed, for contact tracing and the investigation of local outbreaks. The government will work with relevant bodies to make the process for recording customers and visitors compliant with data protection legislation. In line with these regulations, Tabitha has the right to hold the relevant client information should we need to contact you regarding Track and Trace.

All of these procedures have been implemented for yours and our safety. Tabitha will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and make any further amendments as required.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Tabitha x
